ASMC Question of the Week: If I ordered the wrong product and wanted to return it, what would the process be?
Posted by Michael on 19th Jan 2023
We get it. Sometimes when you place an order for an item, you accidently order the wrong thing. That is why we here at ASMC Industrial are willing to accept returns within 30 days of purchase. If more than 30 days have passed, unfortunately the item is no longer eligible for a return.
Please either open a return request through the website or you can also email sales@asmc.net and request an RMA. For orders that were ordered by mistake, the customer is responsible for return freight (you can ship the parts back anyway you want) and will also be billed a 20% restocking fee. All of that information will be on the RMA paperwork which be emailed to the customer once the return case has been opened.
Should the error be on ASMC's end (i.e. incorrect parts shipped), then ASMC will provide a shipping label/UPS account number to bill the shipment back to and that information will be included in the email with the RMA as well.
It's important to note here than in cases where ASMC is at fault, we might have you return the parts to another address outside of our headquarters in Libertyville, IL. This information will be included in the RMA as well.
