Mason asks: I have an order I placed through the website via standard shipping and when I track the shipment, it seems to be held up.  What's the deal?

Thank you for your question Mason.  We have been seeing this with a significant percentage of shipments over the last month. Most of these are delayed a week or two, then delivered.

All the common carriers are operating at capacity or over, and that combined with the sporadic closing of some sorting centers due to coronavirus is causing delays.  We ask that you be patient for a little longer

Daniel asks: I know one of the services you offer is plating if for instance, I wanted to have a stainless steel bolt covered in a black oxide finish.  Would I be able to get samples for that so I could test it out before proceeding?

Appreciate the question Daniel.  With our plating services, unfortunately samples will not be an option.  Our platers charge a minimum fee for their services and the pricing is the same whether they do 100 pieces of 20,000 pieces.  That is why to get the most bang for your buck, we recommend having parts plated in large quantities.
