Happy President's Day aka Washington's Birthday. Hope everyone who is off is enjoying the day. We here at ASMC Industrial are open and shipping orders as usual.
Onto this week's mailbag:
Albert asks: I placed an order yesterday and I have not received my tracking number yet. When can I expect to see it?
Thanks for your question Albert. If, on the item product page, it says, "ships within 1 business day," you should have a tracking number withing 24 business hours after placing the order. However, if it says next to availability on the product page, "ships within 2-3 business days," that is the timeframe you can expect to wait for a tracking number to be generated and the product shipped out to you.
I know we have covered this in previous blog posts, but with the website revision and new layout, I wanted to make sure I showed everyone exactly where to look on the product page to see the availability of an item.
Under the price per piece, part number, and minimum purchase, you will see an availability line (please see picture below).
Hopefully this clears up and and all questions moving forward.
Jackie says: I received a quote from one of your sales specialists, however, when I tried to search for it online, I was unable to find it. Can you please help?
Hi Jackie. For some quoted items, these are special orders so they won't always have part numbers. A part number will be created once we receive a PO from you and then contact you via phone for payment.
Liana says: My company is tax-exempt. Where do I need to send over my CRT-61 certificate so we are not charged sales tax?
Unless your business resides in the state of IL, there is no need to send us over your tax-exempt certificate because we only collect sales tax for IL residents. If you are an IL resident, please send the form to our sales email address (sales@asmc.net) and we will put the appropriate document on file.
